We don’t just get instruments in, turn them on and ship them back out again.
All our instruments go through rigorous procedures to ensure they meet not only our high-quality standards but also to match your expectations as well.
Step 1 - Initial Tests
All instruments are PAT tested to ensure electrical safety. We then run basic checks for fundamental operations. If it works - Hardware is then configured to match customer specifications. If it doesn’t work - Further testing carried out and replacement of faulty parts.
Once confirmed as operational, we then carry out our standard KRSS instrument service procedures. This is to ensure the instrument is fully functioning and up to date with a lower risk of breakdown.
If required, then worn, end-of-life consumable parts are replaced. This helps bring the instrument up to a standard that we expect to have with a renewed machine.
Instruments are then performance tested to ensure they are fit for purpose. The tests are a mixture of KRSS performance tests and ones that match our Used | Refurbished | KRSS Approved. Test data is then recorded and stored.
Once all are fully operational and performing optimally, we then give the instrument our seal of approval. The instrument is then packaged up, ready to ship along with our standard warranty.
